Rover Scouts is open to all young men and women aged 18 to 25. Anyone can become a Rover Scout – there’s no need to have had any previous involvement with Scouting, or any prior outdoor activities experience.
Challenging outdoor activities such as bushwalking, canoeing, sailing, caving, ski-touring, canyoning, four-wheel driving, rock-climbing, and scuba diving can all form part of a Rover Scout’s calendar.
Social activities such as harbour cruises, nights out, car rallies, and “Moots” (gatherings of Rover Scouts on a local, national, and sometimes international level) also feature on an active Rover Scout’s program.
